NATIONAL POETRY LIBRARY: Poetry International Book Club

Date: Monday 16 October
Time: 6.30pm
Price: Free but booking essential
Venue: National Poetry Library, Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre

Look at the work of those who've taken the Poetry International stage as our Autumn Book Club marks 50 years of the festival.

Drawing on the National Poetry Library’s unique collection of recordings from the festival, we visit one poem from each decade and celebrate Basil Bunting, Paul Muldoon, Sonia Shanchez, Tua Forsström, and Choman Hardi, poets from across the world who have spoken at Southbank Centre’s longest running festival.

Free but booking required. Email specialedition@poetrylibrary.org.uk to reserve your place.

From 6pm attendees will be able to view our new exhibition Radical Alterations of the Sun: 50 Years of Poetry International drawing on material from Southbank Centre's Archive.
