Ntiense Eno Amooquaye | Hera Master Come Down

For her first ever solo exhibition, Ntiense Eno Amooquaye has developed a new body of artwork and writing over a period of 12 months working in The Saison Poetry Library. Her interest spans a wide variety of poets in the collection including Anne Ryland, Joseph Butler, John Betjeman and Benjamin Zephaniah. A member of the London-based art collective Intoart, Amooquaye's practice integrates the visual, written and spoken word through print, text, image and live performance.

Inspired by Amooquaye's research in the Poetry Library she has developed a series of bookmarks made in direct response to the collection. The bookmarks have been placed within the pages of books to which they relate, and will be returned to the shelves of the Library when the exhibition draws to a close. Three special edition riso prints that commemorate the exhibition have been editioned and signed by the artist. For further details ask at the Library reception or visit the Intoart website www.intoart.org.uk.
