Extra Rug Rhymes during Imagine! | 28-Jan-15

Under-5s and their carers are invited to join Poetry Library staff and their gang of puppets every morning at 10.30 from Monday 9 through to Friday 13 February for a 30 minute session of poems, songs and rhyming stories.

All sessions are free, just turn up.

Empathy boosting rug rhyme session, Friday 13 February at 10.30
Join us for a special kind of Rug Rhymes, in partnership with the EmpathyLab, using rhymes that are great for parents and carers to share face to face with children. After the rhyme session, we'd love parents, carers and children to help us make a creative display expressing feelings about enjoying rhymes and poems together.

Monday 9 February at 12 noon & 2pm we are joined by Special Guest Hilda Sheehan
We are delighted to welcome back the wonderful Hilda Sheehan as she uses the power of voice and her wheely bag of props to transport us into the world of some classic poems.

Monday 16 February at 10.30 and also at 12 noon & 2pm when we are joined by Special Guest Blueberry Playsongs
Margo Random of Blueberry Playsongs will join us with her guitar to share nursery rhymes and action songs - a chance to rattle, dance and sing.

Please contact Lorraine Mariner on lorraine.mariner@southbank.co.uk for more information on any of these sessions.
