New aquisitions

The Princeton Encyclopedia of Poetry and Poetics | 03-Jan-13

With almost two decades having passed since the last edition, the Poetry Library is delighted to welcome the fourth edition of the The Princeton Encyclopedia of Poetry and Poetics to its enquiry desk shelves.

Thoroughly revised and updated by a new editorial team with more than 1,000 entries ranging from from brief paragraphs to major essays of 15,000 words. It includes 250 new entries covering recent terms, movements, and related topics, has a broader international coverage and expanded coverage of poetries of the non-Western and developing worlds.

If you've ever wondered what a Blason or an Encomium is, and how to go about writing one, then this is the reference volume for you.
