Jeremy Reed Duck and Sally inside (Enitharmon Press, 2004) | 23-Nov-04

Described by J. G. Ballard as "the most gifted poet working today" and by Edmund White as "the English Rimbaud", Reed is unrivalled in the creation of an imagery that totally dazzles. Duck and Sally Inside, which owes its title to a Lou Reed song, is fresh confirmation of the power and originality of Jeremy Reed's poetry.

Jeremy Reed's most recent poetry collections are Heartbreak Hotel (Orion, 2002) and Saint Billie (Enitharmon, 2001) and his latest novel is Boy Caesar (Peter Owen, 2004). He has translated Montale and Cocteau, and has written a critical study of Rimbaud and books on pop culture including portraits of Marc Almond, Brain Jones and Scott Walker.
