Beautiful waste : poems / by David McComb ; Kinsella, John (introduction). -- North Freemantle, Western Australia : Fremantle Press, 2009.

David McComb, who died in 1999 at the age of 36, was lead singer and songwriter of the Australian post-punk band The Triffids. He also wrote poetry and last year the Australian publisher Freemante Press published a collection of these poems as Beautiful waste.
David McComb is not the only singer-songwriter to have written poetry. In the Poetry Library we have collections of poetry by Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins, by Grammy award winning Ani DiFranco, by Marc Bolan of T-Rex and work by other music legends who need no introduction such as John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Leonard Cohen, Patti Smith, including pamphlets by her and Bob Dylan.
