As well as celebrating its 40th anniversary, this year Picador has published several award-winning collections, all of which are now available at the Saison Poetry Library.

Paul Farley's humorous and engaging collection The Dark Film was a Poetry Book Society favourite this year.

Jacob Polley, who read from his third poetry collection The Havocs at The Southbank Centre this November, was shortlisted for the T.S. Eliot prize as well as being another recommendation of the Poetry Book Society.

Clive James, author of over forty books, published his thematically wide-ranging poetry collection Nefertiti in the Flak Tower.

Richard Meir's collection Misadventure won the inaugural Picador Poetry Prize, was also a Poetry Book Society recommendation in 2012, and was shortlisted for the Fenton Aldeburgh First Collection Prize.

Prize-winning poet Gerard Woodward published his sharp and darkly humorous collection The Seacunny this year.

Samantha Wynn-Rhydderch's Banjo is a great accompaniment to the season, with its exploration of the significant role of music in surviving the Antarctic winter.
