Chronicle: Exhibition at Topolski Studio | 29-Sep-14

As part of Poetry International 2014, the Poetry Library hosted a celebration of David Constantine on his 70th birthday day. Six young Resident Artists from Topolski Studio were there to record his poetry reading, 50 years after artist Feliks Topolski recorded International Poetry at the Royal Albert Hall and published his drawings of it in his broadsheet Chronicles in 1966.

The Residents have included their drawings of this reading, and reportage drawings of other events and issues in London in their own Chronicle, printed on the press at Feliks Topolski's first studio, which he established on the South Bank in 1953.

This Chronicle and accompanying drawings will be exhibited alongside Feliks Topolski's original Chronicles and drawings at the Studio from Friday 3rd to Tuesday 7th October.
