Poetry Library Book Club - Carol Ann Duffy's "Love Poems" | 10-Jan-11

To get you in the mood for Valentine's Day the Poetry Library Book Club will be discussing Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy's "Love Poems".

Whether writing of longing or adultery, seduction or simple homely acts of love, Carol Ann Duffy captures the truth of what it means to love, to be in love, and to be loved in return - and, sometimes, of what it means when love ends. The collection includes some of Duffy's most popular poems, such as 'Warming Her Pearls', 'Words, Wide Night', and 'White Writing'.

Monday 7 February 2011
Poetry Library, 6.30
