We Want Your Love Letters! | 04-Jun-11

Alex Knell
Art on Poetry
31 August - 25 September, 2011
Taking on Literature's most challenging theme, Knell expands on the intimate language of love, rendering a distinction between the private and the universal.

Taking Part
Visitors to the Saison Poetry Library are invited to donate a love letter for a new work by Alex Knell.

Donations may take any form;

Handwritten letters
Sms texts
All types of love communiqués, old and new, are welcome. Scans, photocopies, handwritten notes of text messages are accepted.

The correspondance will be used as inspiration for an edition of works hidden in the Library's permanent collection and a series of poster pieces that will explode the language of intimacy into universal texts of affirmation, joy and hope.

Letters are handled with the utmost care and will returned at the end of the project. The identity of contributors will be omitted from the exhibited work and submissions will not be displayed in their original form.
