Towersey Festival offering new development programme | 03-May-13

Towersey Festival, in Oxfordshire, is offering three emerging live literature performers the chance to be mentored, perform at the festival, and develop their work with professional writers.

Writer-performers Tom Banks and Debs Newbold will guide three emerging writers through a free career development programme that will be see them receive three days of training and workshopping, perform at Towersey Festival as part of its Live Lit programme, leading Spread the Word's writing workshops with festival-goers, and hosting a mini pop-up show along the way.

Applicants must be over 18 and resident in a London postcode. They need to commit to two preparation workshop days in July and August (to be agreed), and one training day on Saturday 13th July, 2013. They will also need to be free to attend the Towersey Festival from Thursday 22nd - Monday 26th August, 2013.
