Publicity material for this announcement says:

At a ceremony last week at the Urdd Eisteddfod in Pembrokeshire, Eurig Salisbury the 2011-13 Bardd Plant Cymru (Children's Poet Laureate of Wales) announced that the next poet to take on the role will be Aneirin Karadog.
The performance poet is already a familiar household name, appearing on S4/C as a feature presenter on Heno and Sam ar y Sgrîn. He was also a prominent member of both Welsh Language pop group, Genod Droog, and the hip-hop duo Y Diwygiad.
Originally from Pontypridd, Aneirin now lives in Pontyberem with his wife Laura and their one year old daughter, Sisial. With a Welshman as a father and a mother from Brittany, Aneirin is fluent in Welsh, English, Breton, French and Spanish.
Lleucu Siencyn, the Chief Executive of Literature Wales said: 'We're looking forward to seeing how the multitalented Aneirin Karadog will use his skills as a rap artist, cynganeddwr, television presenter and linguist to inspire the next generation of young poets in Wales.'

You can apply for a workshop by contacting or by calling Literature Wales on 029 2047 2266. Please note that the demand is very high, and that there's no guarantee that every school who contacts will receive a visit.
