Syrian poet killed by Isis | 21-Mar-16

Islamic State has killed Syrian poet Mohammad Bashir al-Aani and his adult son. They were captured after a family funeral and accused of apostasy, rights groups have said said.

Bashir al-Aani had published three volumes of poems and was known for his lyrical style and opposition to the government of President Bashar al-Assad.
