Disappear Here - open for submissions | 16-May-16

Disappear Here will commission 18 artists to produce a series of collaborative poetry films about the brutalist monolith of Coventry Ring Road.

The project is now open for submissions from writers and artists. They are looking for film-poems that explore Coventry Ring Road as inspiration/source material/location, for artists to show the familiar in a new light, to soften brutalist concrete into a living city skin, to tell different stories about Coventry and its orbiting ring road, the traffic above and the people on the street below.
There is a fee offered for writers [£350] and film-makers [£550] to produce up to three films.

Deadline for submissions - 15 June 2016

Disappear Here is supported by Arts Council England, Coventry City Council, Coventry City of Culture 2021 Bid and Silhouette Press.
