Poet and writer's blog deleted from Google | 26-Jul-16

Dennis Cooper's DC's Blog, which he has been updating for 14 years, has seemingly been erased by Google along with his Gmail account. The writer and poet recently found himself booted out of his emails only to be told when he tried to log back in that his account had been deactivated. 

Cooper, known as a controversial and transgressive writer, has been reluctant to describe the removal of his blog as censorship but there has been concern in the art world about Google's power over alternative voices online.
