New arts centre to celebrate Seamus Heaney | 01-Sep-16

A former police station in Bellaghy has been transformed and will open on 30 September as Seamus Heaney HomePlace. The centre will house a permanent exhibition celebrating the Nobel prize-winning poet's life and work with his poems, personal artefacts, audio and video recordings and photographs. There will also be a small theatre, a library and an education and learning space.
