Hollie McNish wins Ted Hughes Award | 30-Mar-17

Congratulations to Hollie McNish, who beat six other shortlisted poets to the £5,000 Ted Hughes Award for New Work in Poetry, with her third collection, Nobody Told Me

The collection is a memoir, combining poems and diary entries that follow McNish's journey as a mother, through pregnancy to her daughter's 3rd birthday. The prize, which is administered by the Poetry Society, was presented by poet laureate Carol Ann Duffy at a ceremony in London on Wednesday.
