Soapbox for Poets on 'Amazing Radio' | 03-Feb-11

Tyne & Wear's 'Amazing Radio' feature, 'Soapbox', invites poets and other related spoken word artists to read their work to the nation.

Radio producer Mark Ryan says:

I am a producer for a national radio station called Amazing Radio. As part of the folk roots show which I produce we have a feature called the soapbox where we invite poets and other related spoken word artists to read their work to the nation. Is this something that would be of interest to your organisation.

If so this is how it works. You can either send us recordings of individuals reading their poetry to info@amazingradio.co.uk or people are more than welcome to come here to our station on the river banks of the Tyne in Newcastle to record personally

Lastly if people have work in the public domain then we can access that for the content if people just let us know where it is etc.

I hope this sounds like a good opportunity and I would love to put you on the air so get in touch
