The poet and artist Anna Adams has died. | 14-Oct-11

Anna Adams died on Sunday 3rd of October, aged 85.

Anna Adams' main publisher was Peterloo, which brought out five collections between 1979 and 2004.  She also had published a New and Selected with Enitharmon in 1996.   Anne Stevenson speaks of Anna's "chief virtues of immediacy and intelligence and keen sense of humour which make (her) popular among many readers".  Anna Adams' collections, including her most recent, Time-Pockets (Fisherrow, 2011), may be found in The Poetry Library.
