Talks:

Each talk lasts approximately 30 minutes, free.
Talks start on the hour and will include the following speakers:

12.00 Chris McCabe - poet and Joint-Librarian at the Poetry Library in London will talk about the trends he is detecting in poetry publishing and editing since the Millennium.

1pm Eleanor Livingstone - Director of StAnza, Scotland's international poetry festival, will talk about how she approaches programming the festival and its role in the poetry publishing landscape.

2pm Gerry Cambridge - poet, and editor of The Dark Horse, and Helena Nelson - poet, and editor of HappenStance Press, will team up to talk about what makes them publish a poem or manuscript, and how they as poets go about getting published.
 
3pm Elaine Morton - current joint editor of Lallans will talk about the past, present, and future of the publication and its role in the support and promotion of writing in Scots.
 
4pm Kona Macphee - poet & polymath, talks about the differences between the private act of writing poetry and the public act of publishing it - and how to stay sane while managing to do both.
Further talks later in the day to be announced nearer the date.
 
Exhibition: 'Published in 2011'

Also featuring an exhibition of all the poetry publications published in Scotland or by Scottish poets, and collected by the Library, in 2011 to date.
