Poetry scene news launch creative writing website | 14-Dec-12 has recently published a new feature about creative writing inspired by visiting woodland. The article encourages writers to share their woodland experiences by posting creative comments or poems on their website:

The page includes a handy download about writing haikus:

plus a prize draw to win one of 50 copies of 'Why Willows Weep', a collection of short stories inspired by woodland written by top authors including Tracy Chevalier.

VisitWoods is a project led by the Woodland Trust which promotes the benefits of visiting woodland. The website  features over 11,000 woods that are open to the public, plus inspiring content and exciting activities.
