Since first you came...
Those times have gone...
Lord, but there'll be deaf angels when we meet and you leap up and bark"

Comments:

I'm trying to trace this too. I know the last
two verses, but not which anthology it's in.
(School anthology, 1940s??)
"You'll hear, you first of all,
How you will dash, an arrow to the mark,
Lord! but there'll be deaf angels when we meet, and you leap up and bark!
