Thanks to our friends at the Scottish Poetry Library (www.spl.org.uk) the poem has been identified as 'The Boy Fishing' by E.J. Scovell. The poem can be found in The Poetry Makers (Bodley Head, 1968) and The Faber Book of Twentieth Century Women's Poetry (Faber, 1987).
