"Selina was dressed in white satin..." | 05-Jan-07

Many years ago I had a book of poems entitled, I believe, 'Cautionary Tales' (not the one by Hilaire Belloc).  It included a poem which began:

"Selina was dressed in white satin and lace.
She looked in the mirror, with a smile on her face.
'How nice', said Selina, 'I look in this dress,
It's vastly becoming to me, I confess'....

This poem warned against vanity!

I would love to know the rest of the words to this poem and the name of the book.                  (LP)
