Itching Gagaway | 09-Jan-07

The poem begins with the lines:

"In Manchester United where tinned lobster grows on trees
You can see the itching gagaway or not, just as you please."

and also includes the line:

"Itch, itch, itch, I've got to get rid of my itch".

The poem then goes on to list the types of tree that the Itching gagaway jumps into (such as the larch, the elm etc.) in a vain attempt to find relief, only to finally find success when he

We too are searching for this poem for my father. Does anyone please have any ideas of how to find it or who it was written by?
