The Cold Shoulder | 26-Apr-07

I think this was a poem, which was one item in a compilation of stories & poems we had as children in the 1940s.  I cannot recall the title of the book, which was a collection for children.

Comments:

I have managed to track down both the poem and the book from my childhood in which it is located:

The Cold Shoulder

The compilation of stories and poems is entitled "The Story Wonder Book for Boys and Girls", published by Ward Lock, and I gather issued many times from the 1920s to the 1940s.

I am grateful to all those, here and on other search sites, who helped me along the way.
