Do you know this poem? Do you have any clues to help us find it?

When Peggy Ann and Peter had told me where they'd been,
The curious creatures they had met, the queer queer things they'd seen.
I'm sure, I'm quite quite certain, that I could surely spy,
A teeny weeny twinkle in the corner of each eye.

I am trying to find this poem, my dad used to read it to me when I was younger and I have been searching for it for years. I know it was in a Mabel Lucie Atwell book but am not sure if she wrote it or was the illustrator.

Can you help?
Amy Boulton

Thank you to Amy who remembered this poem from a Mabel Lucie Atwell book. The poem is written by Atwell and can be found in "Lucie Attwell's Rhyme Time". The edition we have in the Poetry Library was published London : Dean, 1981, reprinted 1989.
