The poem (The Haunted Hollow) was in  a booklet of humorous monologues and was around in the 1950s. The first two verses are:

You want to look over the church sir?
Well just wait a bit if you please,
While I go into the cottage
and have a look round for the keys.

Now where did I put 'em last Sunday?
Ah, I remember our Jack were 'aving a nose bleed
So I put the keys down his back.
